Is there a difference between bearing and bushing

There is a difference between bearing and bushing, bushing is actually just a kind of plain bearing.  The main function of bearing is to support the mechanical rotating body, reduce the friction coefficient in the process of motion, and ensure its rotation accuracy.  Shaft sleeve is a cylindrical mechanical part on a rotating shaft, and is a component of a sliding bearing.  

The shaft sleeve is set on the shaft, can protect the shaft, after wear and replace the shaft sleeve, avoid direct wear of the shaft, reduce maintenance costs;  Bearing is a rotating body supporting shaft, which can reduce friction.  

The same with the shaft sleeve and bearing is that both bear the load of the shaft, the difference is that the shaft sleeve is an integral structure, rotation is the relative motion between the shaft and the shaft sleeve;  The bearing is a split type, and the inner and outer rings of the bearing move relative to each other when rotating.
